Lawsuits Filed In Train, Garbage Truck Collision

Several personal injury lawsuits have now been filed as a result of the collision between the Amtrak train and a Time Disposal garbage truck in Crozet, Virginia on January 31, 2018.

Crozet is a small town in Albemarle County that it is essentially a suburb of Charlottesville, Virginia. The personal injury lawsuits claim that Time Disposal and its employees failed to pay attention to their duties as they drove the garbage truck across the railroad crossing.

The lawsuits also make claims against Amtrak, the train operator and CSX transportation and Buckingham Branch Railroad, the track owners.
